I avoided the Interstates. Took all back roads. It took me the same amount of time that it would have taken me on any other day. I'm not in a flood prone area.

Glad you're playing it safe DGX, but rattled to hear you forgot the charger, that sucks I guess Thursday will come quick but there are $12 chargers on Prime that may next-day ship. Probably not worth it for under 48 hours though.

I guarantee you, when I get home, there might be a twig in my yard. Anyway, I'm gonna be on sporadically. I forgot my laptop's charger out of frustration, so I can't hang out and chat. Just wanted to let y'all know.

Middle Georgia has a lot of hills btw. And cotton farms.
Better a twig in the yard and you safe than four feet of water and flying witches.

I was going to call this lawn care service about my fourth fertilizer application for the year. Young dude from the company shows up on my step just now and I wanted to cut the lawn today

He's going to do all of his other customers first and come back to do my lawn.

Now I gotta race out and do the front and back. Usually it's two hours

    see ya later

Such a great day...around 23C, light breeze, lots of sun and the lawn is really green for a change. I love days like this.

Too bad it will be white in few weeks

We should switch homes for a year, you'll be begging to move back and have snow again

    Yes, I've seen your winters...

I bet after you dug out the three feet of snow around your truck more than twice in one week before going to work in the morning, you'd be heading back down south.

    multiply that by 6 months

I like the heat and would rather sleep in a warm room, compared to cold.

Not sure if I could take the 100F degree heat if I worked outside etc....but I've had so many shitty winters I can't even think about facing another one. We can barely drive in the city because of my wonderful city workers who do nothing after 30 inches of snow falls.

it's like holding your breath for 180 days
