The katana is my 2x12 100 watt combo. It has enough built in effects for me. I'm sure theres better out there, but for my limited needs it's fine. My Fender is a bassbreaker 15 combo. Not true fender cleans, but close enough for me, and I really like the 2 gain stages. I dont have the setup wet/dry yet. Just thinking about trying it. I like both amps for different reasons, and I think they'd sound great together. My kat is the mk1 with the latest (and supposedly last) update. Not sure I see any real advantage to the mk2 for me. I do think I'll probably sell the BB15 at some point and buy a used bb30 once they've been out a bit.Originally Posted by DemonGeminiX

So your wet set up is the Boss Katana, and your dry is the Fender (which one?). You can't really get a better naturally clean tone than Fender's, depending on the amp. Boss released a MK 2 for the Katana. There might be a firmware upgrade for the one you have. Don't quote me on that. It doesn't hurt to check.
Technically speaking, I could do a wet/dry set up with a stereo set up on one of the sides. I've got 3 amps. 2 of which suck really hard. Well, 1 that sucks really hard, I just have a low opinion of digital amps, so I say my Flextone 2 sucks, when in actuality, it's amp modeling section is pretty impressive. I just prefer tube amps. I haven't played through an Axe FX yet, so my opinion could change.
You should talk to Jay about minimal set ups. I think he's got a pretty impressive set up that doesn't take up too much space.

Well that went next level tonight.
I got home from a long flight and sat down to watch a hockey game only to realize it's on some obscure sports channel I don't get. I was raging at the tv and telling my wife "I'm cancelling these fuckers, we're changing cable providers this weekend"
I absolutely shit you not - doorbell rings 30 minutes later. It's the competition canvasing our condo building as they're installing new fiber-optic lines and have all sorts of promos. It was honestly baffling. Signed up with them for about 15% less plus a $400 bill credit and more channels on the spot. But they definitely bugged my house...
