Who in the hell posts an item for sale on reverb, and when you purchase it, they take your $$, then a day later, refund $$ and say "sorry, that item is not in stock"?? At least the gave a full refund. Now the search for a burstbucker 2 zebra continues..

I thought the prefered pronoun thing was mostly a niche thing in colleges.... but I got an email today from a lady at a homeless charity that had her preferred pronouns in her email signature. First time seeing that

I think I'd have to find a different homeless charity to work with if I saw that.

People in the bubble believe everyone understands.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.

Research now indicates that birth control pills reduce the size of the hypothalamus. This impacts hormone regulation and emotional decision making. It also impacts sexual attraction. Interestingly, women on the pill are less attracted to traditionally masculine men. Interesting findings.

I wonder if copper IUD's are safer long term.. intuitively you'd think it'd be better than messing with hormones long-term.

Fun fact: I've never had chickenpox. With the rash of irresponsible parents running amok in this country, I have run across a bunch of kids in public with full blown chickenpox and highly contagious, but have never caught them myself. I've seen a shingles outbreak in elderly adults and it does not look fun.

You should get the chicken pox vaccine if you've never had them. Chicken pox is worse the older you are. And shingles is awful, both my boss and his wife had it recently. My boss was in severe pain for weeks.
