Ah, she likes to travel around
She'll love you and she'll put you down
Now people let me put you wise
Sue goes out with other guys
Here's the moral and the story from the guy who knows
I fell in love and my love still grows
Ask any fool that she ever knew, they'll say
    Keep away from-a Runaround Sue

Got stopped by the police on my way into work this morning.

Was driving down the main drag not too far from my house when out of nowhere a vehicle was on my ass. Didn't see them come from anywhere but all of a sudden there it was. Thought at first maybe it was just some asshole, possibly a drunk or something, but after passing under s street lamp, got a glimpse enough to see it was a cop. He followed me for quite a ways and about 1,000 feet before I was about to get on the interstate, he lit me up. Pulled over into a gas station on the other side of the road trying to figure out WTF I did. There's nothing wrong or expired on my truck and I wasn't speeding, not any more than 2 or 3 mph over the limit maybe, not enough to warrant getting stopped. So, I put it in park and roll down the window and wait for the cop. He immediately apologizes and said dispatch gave him the wrong license plate number to be looking for. The plate belonged to a white Ford pickup and I drive a copper colored Nissan, but he stopped me anyways, I'm thinking maybe to just see if maybe he could get a DUI or something. But he still apologized and gave me his card and sent me on my way.

    Clear case of racial profiling.

About to hit the worst with the fires next 24 hours. Record high temperatures have returned and gale force winds across the country. Even where I am ( relatively safe) the wind is howling and 100kms to the north are multiple files. An area the size of Ireland is burning across the country. Western Sydney was the hottest place in the world not long ago.

While a nice gesture, you do know she's worth more than $200 million and that's basically like someone here donating $500 give or take.

Remember that TV show Party of Five from back in the early 90's (I think)? It was about 5 kids who's parents died in a car wreck and had to raise each other and deal with life?

Well, it's being remade (the pilot episode is on Hulu right now) and now it's about a bunch of Mexican kids that have to deal with the sad fact that their parents have been deported and how to deal with this reality in America

Yeah, I saw that. I won't be bothered with it. Hopefully, it'll be cancelled quickly.

She is pretty awesome! Is there a charity you'd recommend?

Salvation Army, followed by Red Cross.

Donations directly to firefighters is spread over states unfortunately.

    Which is quite generous, still...
