You're not really gambling anything. It's really no worse than the driving point game that we used to joke about when we were younger: How many points certain people would be worth if we hit them with our car? You never went out driving and actually hit anybody with your car. And we're not going out and killing anybody. We're just acknowledging that life ends for everyone and making sport out of guessing which seemingly doomed celebrity or otherwise famous/infamous public figure that wouldn't give two shits about us is going to end up pushing up daisies this year.

I do find it kind of sad that people make a big deal about the death of some random celebrity and there are a zillion stories on it and all of Hollywood tweets/facebooks about it. But there were 4 people that died on that NYC train crash yesterday and nobody seems to care about them compared to some B list celebrity.

Now I'm not saying Paul Walker wasn't a good guy, he well could have been, but I'm guessing those 4 dead people in NYC were all equally as good as he was, they just weren't lucky enough to be famous.

Going to the Claude Monet exhibit at the Denver Art Museum on Sunday. It's the biggest exhibition of Monet art in the US in more than 20 years and the only US exhibit last year/this year. Completely sold out for the rest of the exhibit.

The exhibit was AMAZING. So many great paintings to see. I wish it wasn't such a packed exhibit because I could have spent the entire day in there. By far my favorite painter of all time. We're so lucky that the Denver Art Museum brought this to town.

But of course even better than the exhibit was getting to see all the homeless people downtown. Even right in front of the art museum, on the sidewalks, rows of tents and piles of trash, homeless people everywhere. And they wonder why people don't want to go downtown anymore.
