Some states have closed liquor stores I think, but I'm not 100% for sure on that.

New Jersey is now the 4th state to go into lockdown.

I'm surprised Jersey wasn't the first. They're the most densely populated state in the Union. If a person gets infected, then I wouldn't be surprised if the entire neighborhood got infected as well.

NJ liquor stores are saved. I was ready to buy a plethora of alcohol, but was assured they would be open. I guess Nj considers beer "essential"

Closing liquor stores is insane IMO... how many alcoholics are there you figure? Alcohol withdrawal can actually kill you. Not to mention the negative effect of closing down access to booze... let me have a glass of red wine with my dinner, I'm stressed.

Cool note here is that the breweries are all hurting as they make a lot of their profit from on-site sales in their bars/tasting rooms (which are closed), so a bunch of them have transitioned their usual servers into delivery staff (as have restaurants), and you can get micro-breweries to deliver beer to your doorstep at great prices right now

I'm seeing their ads all over my social media for beer delivery, it's tempting.

I have to admit, I am enjoying some of the stories coming out of anti-gun liberals all of a sudden trying to panic buy guns and realizing they can't because of the regulations they put in place.

10 day wait? Oh I'll just buy online out of state and have it shipped....wait I can't do that either? I'll just use the "gun show loophole".... what there's still a background check and wait period? But I NEED a gun now to protect all my toilet paper! The police aren't protecting me!

Call my boss yesterday. As of now, I'm still heading to work Tue. My luck, I'll get to west texas, then they'll lock the state down. Guess I'll be getting a fine, as I wont be staying out there if the state is locked down.

"Stay at home" order. All non essential businesses to close. Avoid all unnecessary travel. Until April 5th.

Called my boss and we are closing the doors for at least two weeks. Even the girl that runs the day to day operations is no longer working from home.
