It's really awesome that they do that for us. It explains every ballot measure in lay terms and not the legal speak that tends to be on the ballot. It also tells you what your vote means because some of the ballot measures are deceptively worded (like if you vote yes, you are actually voting no) and it gives you both sides of the ballot measure. Then for the judges that are up for being retained, it gives you their judicial watch grades and it gives the non-partisan recommendation as to whether they deserve to be retained or not.

Yeah that's nice.. We get nothing like that..

Back at the old house, I was up at about 3 am one night taking a piss, and afterwards, while I was washing my hands in front of the vanity mirror, I saw something slithering behind me on my bedroom rug. I turned and saw a green snake just crawling around on the floor. He had to have been about two to two and a half feet long. Not very big at all. I beat him over his head a few times with a fly swatter, then, when he stopped moving, I grabbed him and threw him outside into the grass off of my back porch. When I went looking for him in the backyard in the morning, he wasn't there. Either he was playing possum when I was putting him outside, or something came along and grabbed him before the morning came. Or maybe both.
