So listen, guys.. I'm ready some of Boltons transcripts... It's really making me look at Trumps style of shoot from the hip, ignore the specialists, style of governing.. I'm not sure he really knows what the fuck he's doing.

Ok, I get Juneteenth now. It's not a national holiday, it's a Texas holiday, and it exists because Texas was being a bunch of dicks back in 1865.
The first state to actually abolish slavery was Massachusetts in 1783. The ball kept rolling so that by 1804, the entire North had abolished slavery as a matter of state law. In 1863, Lincoln delivered the Emancipation Proclamation, which was an executive order that effectively stated that slavery was abolished in the entirety of the United States. There's a lot of debate as to whether Lincoln had the power to do this, as there's a lot of debate over many other Presidential executive orders in history. Of course, since the South seceded and set up the CSA in 1861, they ignored it. Congress passed the 13th Amendment to the US Constitution on January 31 1865, which stated that slavery was abolished as a matter of US Constitutional Law. Lee surrendered to Grant at Appomattox on April 9, 1865. Some historians call this the end of the Civil War, others call it the beginning of the end. Confederate armies keep fighting after Lee surrenders, and individual Confederate Armies surrender to the Union Army on their own. Historians claim the Confederacy is effectively over on May 5th 1865. CSA President Jefferson Davis is captured and arrested on May 10th 1865. The Union Army march into Texas on June 19 1865, the Texas Confederate Armies surrender and the Union Army tell the slaves in Texas that they are free (and this is where Juneteenth comes from). The 13th Amendment is ratified on December 6th 1865, and slavery is abolished nationwide.
So technically, Juneteenth just marks a date in Texas history that says Texas was being dicks and the Union Army fixed it. The actual end of slavery in the United States is either January 1 1863, if you believe Lincoln had the right to end slavery by executive order; or it's on January 31 1865 when Congress passes the 13th Amendment to the the US Constitution; or when the states ratify the 13th Amendment on December 6 1865. As a matter of Constitutional Law, slavery is abolished when the 13th Amendment is ratified, so that's when it should be celebrated (in my opinion).

The plain packaging is favoured nowadays by most supermarkets here. Supermarkets are steadily removing well known brands from their shelves in favour of their own.
Aldi
Woolworths
Coles
IGA
These are the main culprits. Black & Gold at IGA are about the only ones left in plain packaging..... the rest have diversified packaging to look less like a home brand.
If as you say, Bolton is trying to get revenge, it doesn't account for the several others that have not had good things to say about Trump. I see in the morning newspaper, Trump is again trying to get a book banned by this guy and also another by his own niece for suggesting his relationship with Daddy was not the best.
Are you another Aussie? Forgive me if I pegged that wrong.
And I submit to you that sometimes the best leaders are not always the best people. We knew what we were getting when we voted him in. I will paraphrase another poster on this forum: The left wants us to hate the policies because of the man, but we tolerate the man because of his policies.
I don't agree with everything he does, and I wish to hell that we could stop him from tweeting and put a filter on his brain to stop his stream of consciousness press conferences (he's pretty good when he sticks to a script), but for the most part, I think he's done ok. He ran on punishing China, and he has done a pretty good job with making us happy in that respect. I don't believe Bolton when he says that Trump's selling us out to China. In fact, most of the excerpts that I've read makes Bolton look petulant. I'll say it again: I've been watching Bolton for a long time. He's a warhawk Neocon and while he was in Trump's administration, he called for war on several occasion, and Trump ran on stopping unnecessary wars and bringing our troops home. Trump fired him and Bolton's been screaming to high heaven cursing Trump's name ever since. I've watched him do it on Fox News before Fox News dropped him, and he's doing it again with this book.
If you want to know who's really been selling us out to foreign countries, I'll throw you out some names: Biden, Pelosi, Romney, Schumer, Warren. Romney really disappoints me, because I've backed him in the past. But he's a politician first and he plays the game well. They all do. You know who doesn't play the political game well? Trump. He's not part of the system and that's why everybody hates him. And that's exactly why he's going to win again in November.
Do you know who else is really good at the political game? Bolton.

Hey!
I think I'm going to buy up all the Uncle Ben's and Aunt Jemima products out there and then sell them on eBay in about 10 years because they'll be collectors items
