I have a follow up with the surgeon tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. I am off work tomorrow and Thursday.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.

Wow! Totally opposite of my experience. All that was done to me was eye drops that numbed it for surgery, no pain whatsoever. No sedation of any kind nor an IV. My sight was back to days of my youth immediately. As I mentioned before colors were super vibrant.
Sorry your experience didn't go as well.

I'm glad yours went so well. Maybe mine will just take longer but still be okay.

I know eye shape does have a lot to do with the outcome, some people just have to live with the cataracts. My surgeon took several different measurements before saying I was candidate for multi-focals.

My wife insisted on sitting through the consultation because she knows I tend to remain silent about most everything.
After telling us what was entailed my wife asked the doc how far apart they were, meaning the surgery's.
Without given the doc a chance I held up hand with my finger and thumb apart and said " About 2 and a half inches."

You could have heard a pen drop as everyone starred at me. Then the doc busted out laughing but my wife's stare nearly did me in.

The New York primaries won't be settled for a week. They allowed everybody to do mail in ballots and those won't be counted until next week.

That should give them plenty of time to rig the outcome to their satisfaction.

Makes me sick that I had that same thought.

No offence intended but I don't think anyone at his time wants 2020 vision.....

Today I'm thinking that all of my clothes must eventually disappear...

I have just removed another load of washing from the clothes dryer and judging by the lint in the filter, sooner or later there'll be no clothes left when I finish a cycle and open the door....

We're the "voter suppression" people, not the "vote early, vote often" people. Get your fraud straight.
