Oregon and Oregon State will no longer call their football rivalry game "The Civil War" any longer because it's racially insensitive

Remington Arms is in bankruptcy. Navajo Nation is in talks to buy the company. They say they're gonna halt the production and sale of Remington AR-15s.

Hmm, and I was thinking of getting a Remington 1911 hunter in 10mm.
I don't think they're threatening to get rid of handguns.

Internet drama alert.
You may see this trending on Twitter, so I'll play the role of your token millennial today and explain
'The face' of online gaming streaming service Twitch, Dr. Disrespect, was permanently banned by Twitch today. This is massive news in the gaming world.
Dr. Disrespect is a caricature who streams games like Call of Duty while wearing a mullet and fake mustache, wearing bright red body armor, and is known for staying in character all the time as an over-the-top hardo. Kind of an 80's action hero satirical vibe. He was beloved by younger fans, and a constant source of memes for the internet in general (in other words, he's a weenie, but entertaining to many whether you laugh at him or with him). Personally I saw some of his stuff and thought it was just brutal but he did have fans.
For context on the scale of this drama, this guy had about 15,000 paid subscribers paying him $10-25 monthly, roughly 4.4 million Twitch followers, and racked up over 180,000,000 views of his channel since he began streaming. He made millions of dollars streaming and had recently signed a multi-year deal with Amazon's streaming platform Twitch.
Today he was suddenly banned with no warning or explanation. Twitch streamers get short-term bans for copyright issues and slip-ups like showing or saying inappropriate content all the time, but this has been confirmed to be a permanent ban for something else.
Speculation is all over the map as to what has happened here so suddenly.According to numerous reports, popular gaming streamer Guy "Dr Disrespect" Beahm has been banned from Twitch. According to industry insider and journalist Rod “Slasher” Breslau, sources say the ban is permanent. A statement from Twitch shared with media outlets did not go into detail, saying "As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service." Dr Disrespect was temporarily suspended from Twitch last year after broadcasting from a public bathroom during gaming convention E3.
