Btw, if you logged the time and location of the celestial pic = problem solved to find out what it was

According to several star maps that track planet positions in the solar system that I'm looking at, it looks like it could be Mars. The only other object positioned close enough to the Moon today is Ceres and that's way too small to see with the naked eye. I doubt a home telescope could resolve it either.

Came out awesome...the NY Strips were a little over an inch thick and the ribeye was closer to 1-1/2 thick, so it worked out perfectly. About 9 minutes in the super hot grill (5 minutes first side, flip, about 4 minutes on the second side) and rest for 5 minutes and they were just about perfect. The strips were medium rare and the ribeye was just barely past rare. And they were only seasoned with kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper. Served with baked potatoes on our steak eating plates.

Nah, it would be too far away and the sun's light doesn't extend that far out to illuminate it in the night sky.

speaking of extending that far out, this made me think of the theory that the sun undergoes periodic micronovas, appears to be decent evidence for it
