It depends on what you think "being rich" means. Personally, my belief is this: you're rich when you're so wealthy that market fluctuations couldn't affect your wealth. Nothing would make you sweat. From what I understand, from what I've been lead to believe, that's generally true when you have $100 million (USD) or more. I'm not saying you couldn't live comfortably and in style with less, but if you've got say $20 million, then an economic downturn could wipe that out.

Probably going to have to put our cat Garfield down today if we can get him into the vet. Going to be hard, I've had him almost as long as I've lived in Colorado. He was a shelter cat and best guess is he's between 21 and 22 years old. He's ha d a very long and happy life, but he's rapidly starting to go downhill. He's lethargic, barely eating, and having multiple accidents (not making it to the litter box). Don't want the poor guy to suffer and I think it's the right time. Going to be hard on the kid, even though she hasn't been with him nearly as long as I have, she really loves him and it will be rough, especially considering that we had to put Nermal down just around a year ago.
