My extended work hitch is over(ish). My co worker is supposed to fly in today around 16:00, so barring something going wrong, I'll be driving home then. Should get home around midnight. Then a whole 6 days off before coming back to work. Oh well, at least the extra weeks pay will be nice. Also may have a couple of days cash $$ side work coming up next days off.

I can't find any ammo. I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger on buying the rifle I want because of its inflated price. However, that elusive guitar amplifier I've been hunting for years is now back at Guitar Center. There's a bunch of guitars I wouldn't mind having as well that I'm finding used. I bet people are selling their junk because everything's shut down and they need the money. That slightly saddens me.
Hindsight is 20/20. I should have loaded up on ammo and bought the rifle last year. Then I could have bought all the guitar junk I want to my heart's content this year.

The Carvin x100 combo. I can't handle stacks. They're impossible for me to move. I didn't know any better back in the day, so I bought the x100b half stack back in the early 90s. It sounded amazing, but I couldn't do anything with the behemoth, so I sold it. I should have bought the combo instead. When I thought about obtaining the combo again last decade, I found that the company split up after the owner's death and the audio side wasn't making amps anymore. They had reissued the combo back in 2006 before he died, but I wasn't thinking about stuff like that back then. There was just way too much shit on my plate. There was one on Reverb up until two years ago, but I waffled on it and somebody else bought it.
I'd really like to have it, but I really think I should arm up instead. It's coming.

Carvins always had nice clean power to em....relative shit for distortion, but that's what pedals are for anyway! I hear ya about stacks, that's partly why I built that 1x15/4x10 into one unit that rolls away like a hand truck and I can tip it and slide it into my truck without really "having lifted it." Decisions, decisions...got enough ammo for a shootout?
