i've gotten bumped up to first class on several domestic flights due to status at the airlines. there is nothing about that experience that would justify me spending the extra money for that. can buy the over-priced alcohol in the back that you get for free up front.

never had the privilege of getting that bump internationally, but being able to sleep uninterrupted in a more comfortable seat could be really nice, especially if the expectation is that i will be at my best for a presentation or meeting shortly after arrival.

What are you talking about? Those app window thingies? I shut that junk off on the very first day I started using Win10. My system looks like it's Windows 7.

I had some kind of MS app error that kept popping up saying I couldn't get to the internet... while I was on the internet. It was preventing me from getting into things, like my email and a few other MS apps I had set to run directly from Windows. So I was having to access everything in some half-assed convoluted way. Well, I got tired of it, and just sat for the past 2 1/2 hours trying to figure out what was going on. I ran through a bunch of things and tried a bunch of fixes, and all of a sudden, everything works again. Since I can't pinpoint which thing worked to fix the problem, I can't really identify what the problem was to begin with. But it's fixed now, so I don't care anymore. I just find it amusing that I fixed a problem without knowing what the problem was and what the fix was and why it worked. Only on Windows.
