Assholes who run our Strata finally caved and re-opened the gym in our building... it's a tiny gym, dead easy to have a sign-up to limit numbers (which they've done now). We're all part owners of the strata so there's no real liability risk from someone getting sick and suing what is essentially themselves. I work in liability for strata/condo buildings and tried to tell them their concerns were not grounded in reality, but they didn't listen until we got a new property manager this month who talked sense into the board.

Anyways, that's in the past now. Went for a proper workout for the first time in a year today. My energy and mood is 100x better than it's been in a long time. Home workouts with youtube videos just weren't the same

Two of my better purchases keep me from feeling that way - my Precor efx 556, and my squat machine

fixed my putting last night, we'll see how it goes out on the course. basically figured out that you cant let your wrist hinge open too much, you've gotta like point right at the basket and not let it open past that. we'll see how this works as it gets out over 40-50...70 feet, though. good thing is its made 30 and under a very high percentage shot.

yeah, the word "golf" totally does apply I'm making more good shots, birdied 3 with a 300ish drive and then nailed a 40 foot putt. good shot on 12 out over the water, great shape back towards the basket and I missed a gimme 15 footer for birdie.

definitely spring out there...but the cold is returning. it was nice to play in shorts and a tshirt, anyway.

Fingers crossed for a good sleep tonight. Wednesday we were up half the night because the dog got neutered and he kept escaping from the cone the vet gave us, so we had to watch him in his crate all night to keep it on and stop him pulling out his stitches. Friday we got a better cone but he hated it so he cried all night and kept us up. Last night he had bowel problems (probably from the pain meds) so we were up all night taking him outside to the bathroom. Really hoping to get more than 3-4 hours of sleep tonight
