They just opened up my age bracket in Colorado last Friday. Things seem to be humming along pretty well in this state. And the US as a whole is doing upwards of 2 million doses a day at this point.

Arm fucking hurts though.

My wife has had both doses now (she's working covid ward on and off so she got early access). She had one friend feel crummy for a day after the second dose, but my wife just had the usual sore arm both times like any other vaccine, nothing else!

It only hurt for about 2 days, it's still a little sore at the injection site, but it's really mild today.

And look at you with your white privilege getting a vaccination already

There was a seemingly random stabbing today at a public library just a few minutes from where I grew up in North Vancouver, near where my parents still live. 6 injured and 1 woman dead. No idea what the psycho's motive was yet. Not that you ever expect this sort of thing, but North Van is sort of a boring, nice, sleepy suburb, definitely one of the last places I'd expect something like that to happen...
