i warned him before the first post went in last week that it was his responsibility to pay a surveyor to ensure his line was accurate. he clearly ignored that. yesterday, i went out and looked at the spot after he dug the hole for the first post. i said, 'you are going to be pretty close to over when you install the fence on my side of the post.' today the panels start getting put on and sure as shit, looks like he is over by a few inches in the back corner of my lot where the first post went. the front is seemingly on his side.

i can't stand the guy and my gf has been having issues with him (and his horrible wife) too. if it was a friendly neighbor thing, i would totally ignore it since the error is less than a foot. since it isn't, i am not sure if i get the surveyor out here (at ~$600) to mark the lines to know. if he is over, i say he either has to make it right by the few inches that he didn't err for or ask him to buy that amount of my property at today's retail prices...

I take it then that the fence builder (initiator) has the onus to have the fencing material on their side? I would have thought it would be down the middle of the actual line - so a bit overlapping either side.

that's not how it works here, you put up your own fence on your own property, and the outside faces out

I love it when I have a return that UPS has to pick up and they say that they tried but no one actually ever came close to my house. I get to call customer service and scream at them and call them liars and every other name under the sun. It's therapeutic. I should return more shit via UPS.

Nailed my first hole in one at league yesterday on 15, $297 payout They cap it at 300 and roll to next pot. It was almost as nice and happy how excited everyone was as it was sinking that motherfucker. Hole along the road, hill sweeps down to the left after the trees start. People usually throw an overstable out over the road and it'll come back, but its all too easy to go down that hill. I didnt throw it out that far, kept it tight, and chains off the bounce! I was thinking in the back of my mind, I heard chains, but my buddies jumping up and down going apeshit confirmed

Came close to hitting payout on league score except I blew up the front 9, bad, I was +10 after 7 But then I put together a nice string of pars 8-14, 16....birded 17 because I had a really lucky bounce, bogey'd 18....fuggin -2 on the back But hell, my body just wouldnt work properly those first bunch of holes.

sweet, Napa has a flywheel in stock. I took out the old one and its just proper to have it milled....comparing prices for having one milled vs buying a new one for 79 dolla....about the same, and a new one I can start putting in this evening.

got that slave cylinder changed, that was the easiest part of the job so far

Got a property value assessment from the county, they're trying to say the value of our house went WAY up over the prior year. Bastards just trying to get more tax money out of us. I've never appealed an assessment before, but we're fighting this one.
