My wife works for the county and she doesn't have the day off...surprising since we have a very 'progressive' gay governor in Colorado.

My car started flickering the oil light at low RPM... rut row, low oil pressure. crap. After it stalled 3 times, I decided not to wait and went to the place that has done all the work on the car. I told the dude who was in a shitty mood and he replied, "we don't do that work here". Oh really, that's interesting since I just wanted to change the oil and maybe through in an additive to clean the lines... but I replied "okay" and walked out.

Drove a few blocks to Jiffy Lube. The guy said "no, dude, you're probably just out of oil". What? He changed the oil and it was fine. I apparently just waited too long and the oil got low. But I had checked it and the level looked fine to me.

    I felt dumb.

You know, you can actually open the bonnet and check the oil...with something called a 'dipstick'

The house next door to me is now under contract and the new owners seem to be already moving in. It went for $49,048 OVER asking price. It sold for $529,048 which is absolutely retarded. That house is in NO WAY worth that kind of money.

If it happens again, just buy a longer dipstick.

anyone else find it ironic that people will likely only celebrate one holiday this weekend as those that recognize saturday have no one to celebrate sunday?

Last night I watched the news from Washington, the Capitol
The Russians escaped while we weren't watching them
    Like Russians do
Now we've got all this bloom, we needn't got the room
And I hear the U.S.S.R will be open soon

As vacation land for lawyers in love
