I'm starting month 10 of keeping up with exercising. I don't do it every day like I was at first, but it's 5 to 6 days a week for between 35 and 45 minutes per session. I'm hovering between 35 and 40 total pounds lost. I'm at the point now I think that unless I either exercise substantially more or make even more changes to my diet that I probably won't lose much more weight, if any.

I would kinda like to lose maybe 10 more pounds, but I dunno how much I want to change my diet. I'm pretty happy that I was able to lose as much as I did, it was completely unhealthy and I let it go for too long and I do feel better generally.

Props to my wife for nagging me to take better care of myself because of it wasn't for her, I most likely wouldn't have done any of it (exercise and regular doctor visits).

It's really not as bad or as hard as some people will lead you to believe. I didn't really change my diet all that much. Maybe cut back on sweets a bit and I pretty much stopped drinking soda other that the odd one here or there. All I did to lose the weight was be more active. We already had a treadmill, so that made it easy. I just made sure to exercise every day. Once you get into a routine, it's not that bad. I just listen to a podcast while I'm on the treadmill and before you know it, the time is done.

Plus with the treadmill, using the elevation part of it, you can make the workout a bit more strenuous whenever you want compared to if you were just outside for a walk or jog. Usually my workout is at 3.5 mph with an incline of 4.5 and after 35 minutes of that, I've worked up a really good sweat. I usually get in between 2 and 2-1/4 miles each day.

NH, I still like the plain ole Tabasco. Years ago, I was working in New Iberia, right up the road from the island. Wife and kids came for a long week to visit. They went on the Tabasco factory tour, and some tours of homes on the Bayou Tetche (sp?) Wife brought me all kinds of funky Tabasco. Tried 'em all, but they all went in the trash.
