So my wife doesn't like online shopping for whatever reason. That usually works for me, probably means she spends less
And I like it and enjoy going down a rabbit hole researching
everything before making major purchases.
But today it all went wrong.
She tell me casually on the way out the door: "Hey my blowdryer died and I'm on call this week, can you next-day ship me one from amazon?"
Me: "No problem, what kind do you want and how much should I spend"
Her: "Oh whatever, no more than $50 should be fine,
just get me whatever"
Me: "Cool, consider it done"
So off she goes to work for 24 hours....
And then I opened amazon and realized.... hair dryers might be the ultimate rabbit hole of consumer-research rabbit holes. There are
HUNDREDS within that price range. I tried to find a review for 'best blow dryer under $50' and there are dozens of blogs with hundreds of options and different opinions.
Did you guys know that different hair dryers are better for different types of hair? Did you know they come in varying degrees of wattage and power levels? Different attachments and cord lengths to consider???
What the fuck! I've spent months researching laptops knowing exactly what I need and still can't pull the trigger,
and she knows it. This must've been some sick prank. You can't just go pick out a blow dryer with zero instruction. This is madness.
