I like the song, but Don Henley has to be the biggest douchebag asshole in music. Glenn Frey was competing for that title, but he's dead now, so there ya go.

Went for a long bushwalk. Discovered once home that my Samsung slipped out of my pocket halfway through. Back I went with torch and headlamp!

Well, great start to my day. Came to our technical center to do some programming an HMI and a remote system for some equipment. Every thing is fine until I turned on the 1000amp feeder breaker to the equipment. Lost partial power to the whole tech center. Mind you, I've had this powered up several times previously. I checked the feed into our main 4000 amp breaker, and I'm missing the "B" phase (480v 3 phase service). Now I get to wait for the power company to show up. Yay. At least some of the receptacles are working, so I'll have to remove the HMI and PLC from equipment and fab up a power cord to power it up.

They do it all the time. Apparently it has something to do with using available space when shipping. When you have dozens of packages on a pallet, in a truck or plane I guess they want everything as tight as can be?
