I really like doing yoga once or twice a week. Some classes are really difficult and a great workout, others are more about staying flexible and stretching and just good for your mind (I stay away from the fluffy yoga styles that are more meditation, not my style). I'm sure it's reducing tweaks and injuries when I do play golf, bike and play hockey and it's good for the body long term. Can't recommend it enough.

Fun to do with the wife/family too, gets everyone laughing when you're holding some simple looking pose but everyone is dying

Pelton, or any other online streaming fitness program wont work for me. Only net access i have at home is my phone. I had satellite but turned it off last year. Have been looking around for something else, but not many options out here.
All I want right now is just some movement type stuff to get flexibility back. I'm too out of shape for much else.

Walking is a great standby warm up and exercise.

Yoga is hard to do cold. I do hours a day sometimes and still have to warm up.

Tai Chi where they break it up into modular little blocks/exercises would probably be best. The slow, strict one may drive you nuts.

I have Tmobile home internet at my aunts in the mountains. If you have a strong 4g/5g signal it works decent. unlimited data. I'm getting around 15MB down with a "fair" signal. $50/MONTH

Is Elon's space internet an option for you?

My mother in law just got it because she lives in the boons. It's first-come-first-serve every day, so she was up at the crack of dawn 5 days straight before she finally got through and snagged a contract, but it's a smokin deal.

Don't have that one, but we have Discovery+ and there's quite a bit of stuff on that one.

One of the sponsors on several of the podcasts I listen to is X Chair. They make it sound amazing and I decided to look at them this morning.

The low end one STARTS at just over $800 and it goes up from there. There are no freebies on this thing, every addon is an upcharge. My chair here at work isn't anything special and I wouldn't mind having a better one, but holy fuck, I can't imagine spending more than $1000 for an office chair.

I'm not sure if T-mobile works here. Dunno what towers they use, AT&T or Verizon. I'd bet thats what they call "fixed" internet service, and its available here via AT&T (with limits), or Skynet (no limits, but $95mth, plus cost of a 50' tower)

Didn't know about Elons internet. Will have to look it up. I was happy with our satellite other than the cost ($120/mth), and data limit (50gb)

I don't know what "fixed" internet is but Tmobile sends you a little box with a SIM card in it, 4g/5g in, wifi out. unlimited data no taxes or fees for a flat $50/month. Basically a hotspot but you can't take it anywhere else.

Won our beer league game tonight 8-7. We tied it 7-7 with 40 seconds left and our goalie pulled, then got the GWG with 0.7 left on the clock We might be a bunch of old dudes playing shitty hockey at this point but man that's a rush. Won't be able to sleep tonight.

From what I've seen online, Elon's internet service is not very good and doesn't have great reviews, especially on the customer service end of things.

I had a quick check: $99/mth, still in beta, not available in my area. No info on data limits, if any. After searching high and low, my only option are satellite or fixed wireless (cellular networks). Of the fixed, 2 choices: AT&T with 350gb data limit, plus overages,or Skynet with no data limits. Both speeds are 25mbs dl, with ATT&T $60/mth, Skynet $95/mth. Skynet says the require a 50ft tower which is $3200 installed. That can be spread out monthly. At&T does say anything about a tower, and my mobile is AT&T and streaming via it works fine in home. Going to check into the satellite options again.

T-Mobile uses their own towers, they have their own network. Plus they added all of Sprint's towers to their network now that they bought Sprint out.
