Finished that. Put new solid tires on my wheels. It only took me about 45 minutes. The dude in the video only took 2 minutes. I think he cheated. But still, the thrill of victory!

Our brilliant government freaked everyone out about the highway closures in light of flooding that has basically closed the city off from the rest of the country (despite one highway already being back open to essential traffic). They decided to ask people to limit gas buying to 30L (honor system). So naturally the pumps were lined up 6 cars deep all over town as everyone rushed to get theirs. Now most pumps are sold out (I've seen refueling trucks coming in though so there's no actual shortage).
Same thing happened at the grocery stores... they asked people not to panic buy... so everyone was like "why would I need to panic buy? Shit I should go shopping"
Asking people not to panic shop just seems to increase chaos... you'd think that less than 2-years after we learned this at the start of covid they gov would've figured that out

According to the local news, it's now been 212 days since the last time it snowed in Denver with no snow forecast in the foreseeable future. We're on pace for the latest snowfall ever in the city.
It's been so dry here I couldn't even tell you the last time it rained. Maybe 2 months ago?
We've had plenty of rain this fall, it has been a bit warmer than average, seen snow twice but both times just barely enough to cover the ground and was gone the same day.
