Our dog Pepper (the Great Dane) has been having some kind of degenerative issue with her hind end. At first it was just a weakness that made her struggle some but lately she's been going downhill and very quickly. Now she really struggles and she slips and falls down, especially with trying to use stairs. The last thing we ever want to do is have her live a life in pain so we are pretty sure that the end is very near and that we're going to have to put her to sleep in the next few days. I'm going to be an absolute mess when that day gets here.
