I've had two Honeywell fans shit out on me after less than two years now. What happened to their quality, I thought it was a halfway decent brand.

Shouldn't a fan last like 5-10 years though, it's as basic a task as you can ask from a motor - spin small plastic fan? Why are these things crapping out in 1-2 years. My folks had an old honeywell fan that I think still runs from when I was a kid...
