Looks like we're going to have to buy a new oven
I'm guessing that it's probably one of the elements, but they are "sealed" inside the interior of the oven. Turning it on, it feels like they are both heating up, but it must be either only partially or not hot enough because it takes almost 3 times as long to cook something and the meat thermometer I use takes the ambient temp of the interior of the oven as well as the internal temp of the meat and it shows the oven temp around 100° to 150° lower than what the oven is set to.
Looking at replacement elements, they are about $200/each. We could do the trial and error and see if we guess right, if that's even the issue.
Maybe confirm that there is 220V getting to the elements? If it's not heating on broil or bake fast it's unlikely both elements crapped out at the same time. Could be a loose wire on one of the two 120 legs and only getting partial power. or I'm assuming it's a digital display, possibly some sort of controller.
Nice thing about cheap basic models is they are also cheap and easy to repair. The newer sleek fancy ones are more difficult and expensive.

Not sure how a wire would have come loose, the oven literally never moves It is a digital display, so there is some kind of controller unit in it. It's 10 years old now.
I've seen weird stuff happen. Casing on wire rubbing through from the heat cool cycles and grounding out (unlikely in your case as it would trip the breaker), mouse chewed wires, corrosion in the plug, etc. Worth checking out before spending a grand on a new one.
Could be a bad temp sensor or thermal fuse too.
If we do replace it, we're going to get a new microwave as well. Several months ago the kid was making ramen and forgot to put the water in. Have you ever smelled popcorn that was burned in a microwave? Ramen noodles are approximately 1,000,000,000 times worse. The house stunk for HOURS and it was so acrid that it made your eyes water. And no mater what we've tried, the microwave is still funked up. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be, but it still hits you every now and again.
