Yep, I don't know if they fail to grasp the fact that guys typically only buy the bride or bridesmaids drinks is because they want to fuck her/them. It isn't to "help the bride celebrate". Donating to an app has zero benefits for the guy.

On the way home from work I saw someone driving with writing all over their back window. When I got close enough I could make out most of what they had written on there. It was that they are a 2023 high school graduate, help them pay for college and they had their CashApp listed

Childs was the Thing at the end. Right before Childs shows up, MacReady's about to take a drink out of a bottle. The bottle's full of the gasoline that MacReady had. MacReady knew he had no chance of surviving when the fires died down, and he was so worn out from the battle, that he wouldn't be able to fight any more and he didn't want to be assimilated by any leftover Things that may show up, so the gasoline was his way out, the blessed end. But before MacReady could take a swig, Childs shows up, and after the short conversation, MacReady hands Childs the bottle and Childs takes a swig... and nothing happens. The Childs-Thing doesn't know what's in the bottle, and further doesn't know that alcohol's not supposed to taste like gasoline. But MacReady knows, and he laughs, knowing that Childs is the Thing.

The Athletic was the funniest one like that for me. I think it went through 2-3 rounds of "are you sure you want to cancel, here's a cheaper price" before I finally accepted a deal that must've been like 90% off

Works nuts, been putting in 10-12 hours days trying to get a huge proposal done for next Friday. If we win, it's a game changer... if we lose, I've burned a lot of social capital with every area of the business trying to get everyone to come together on this in a stupidly short amount of time
