We don't really get 'winter' down in the South, it's more like an extended late Fall/extended early Spring. But I get what you're saying. I was out and about today and I really didn't want to come home, so maybe that's it: I need to get out more.

I just looked at our booking system for work, looks like we're about 90% booked for the eclipse on the island. Problem is, we "open" for the season 4/1. So that gives me a maximum of a couple weeks to get 80+ properties opened and ready to go. Typically we ease into it as the rentals don't really start rolling in until May.

It was funny we mentioned it to Jim when we rented uncle's old place from him and he was like ehhh I dont bother renting in the off season, but I think by now his daughter realizes oh shit we probably might want to rent the place for this once in a preposterously long time event

I'm gonna try, Got a guy that worked for us before, he has another job this year buy I don't think he starts until May. I might be able to convince him to help out for a few weeks. Plus I have a potential full time guy calling me this week that I'm looking to hire.

I think it got to the mid 40s, but it was sunny and since I had to go pick up a disc that fell outta my bag, went and played dubs at the course in town since they do sundays. almost aced hole 4, went right under the basket. buncha good shots, buncha shitty ones, typical

This sounds sensible with 80 plus properties. I'm assuming that some of them will just be a quick check but you just don't know!
