Holy shit so my ISP just did some upgrading and said if you're paying for 150 service you now get 300. Said to power cycle your modem this week. I figured ya right maybe I'll get a bit of a speed bump... but it fucking worked
I caught onto my old ISP a few years back when speeds increased and they never upgraded anyone's plan or decreased the price - when I called they just said "ya, it pays to call once in a while I guess." Fuck you Telus, long live Shaw

At home they just boosted me from 100 to 150. At the island they just did an "upgrade" and now I'm getting 1-4mbps instead of the 12 I'm paying for. (satellite internet). Wish I could bottle up some speed from home and take it with me.
