    History 1889 - World Heads of State

    Thought this was interesting...hadn't heard of some of them. For instance, I didn't know the U.S.A. had a president named Chester Arthur and the Pope was named Leo in semi-recent history.

    what amazes me is that was basically 100 years ago....one or two lifespans...and all of the titles. King, Emperor, Shah, Sultan
