Soulja Boy turned 21 on Thursday, and the rapper bought himself a $55 million private jet for the occasion.

A member of Soulja's management team told TMZ that the "Crank That" singer (real name: DeAndre Cortez Way) bought himself the G5 jet for $35 million. But the birthday boy dropped an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride -- with Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, liquor bars and Brazilian hardwood cabinets. The birthday boy even had his logo painted on the side of the plane.

But Soulja's celebrations won't end with the purchase of a private jet. He's throwing a lavish party Friday night at a Miami nightclub. Fans are invited to watch the fete online by paying $2.99 on Web pay-per-view at souljaboybirthdaybash.com.

He may have just dropped a cool $55 million on a G-5 private plane, but Soulja Boy owes almost $30,000 in back taxes and RadarOnline.com has all the exclusive details.

The 21-year-old, whose real name is DeAndre Way, has been celebrating his birthday in style, but meanwhile the tax man has been looking for him.

According to official documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the State of California filed a $26,805 tax lien against the singer on March 24, 2011.

He also owed the State of Mississippi $3,571 in back taxes but he paid the full amount just last week on July 22, 2011.

In other unfortunate news, his home in Georgia was foreclosed on last year, according to the Detroit News Tax Watchdog blog.

Soulja Boy made the Forbes list as No. 18 on Hip-Hop's top earners in 2010, with a reported $6 million earned from touring and ringtone downloads.
