maybe we should take it one step further...inject the goo and then walk away forever, no help, no payments, no nurturing

I rail on societal trends and fringe elements that drive ridiculous and costly "movements". I don't think all or even a large percentage of women believe the ignorance but the quiet, reasonable ones don't set the agenda.

Total Troll. Epic win for 4chan.

Okay so I think this is hilarious. The hastag #EndFathersDay was started on 4chan. And guess what happened. The feminists picked it up as legit and went wild with it.

    I Started The Hashtag #EndFathersDay, And Here’s Why http://thoughtcatalog.com/anne-gus/2...and-heres-why/

Not long ago I made a post on 4chan (a disgustingly male-dominated websty whose only, like, redeemable quality is its ability to like spread ideas quickly). In this post I called on all feminists and social-justice activists to start spreading the hashtag #endfathersday because it’s a sexist holiday and fathers are nothing but filthy cum-donors.

When I woke up this morning I saw the hashtag everywhere on Twitter and I was like so blown away at how viral it had become. I’m seeing so many great, fierce, and empowered posts under the hashtag, something that makes me super-duper proud to be a feminist in this day and age. Some people however, are like saying that it’s only a joke-hashtag or something like that. This is 114% FALSE. I made that hashtag from my HEART cuz I, along with most feminists, truly believe fathers are totally evil creatures. Let me tell you why:

My own father was never in the picture. My mother told me that after their divorce, which happened I was really young, she had issued a restraining order against him. She told me that my father had been really persistent and had tried on like several occasions to see me and keep custody of me, but that she had never allowed it and legal action had been taken against him as a result. At the time, being a foolish, unfeminist little girl I really wanted to see him, the Patriarchy had subconsciously forced me to love him and so it seemed to my childish and uncritical eyes like he wanted to see me too.

Looking back, however, I am glad he never was a part of my life. I have come to realize now, after analyzing my childhood with fearless and smart Women’s Studies professors, that my father left us out of chauvinistic selfishness. He had never tried to see me and there had been no restraining order against him placed by my mother. What my mother had told me was just a white lie, a strong feminist way to protect me, to make me think he wanted me.

He had abandoned us, probably because he hated women and children, was too lazy to take care of us and wanted to play Call of Warfare instead.

My mother raised me great. She didn’t need him. I turned out more than great anyway. I became a strong, independent woman with a kind heart and really smart thoughts. That lowly knuckle-dragging male would probably have raped me anyway. People talk about “male influence” as if it’s a positive thing, oh yeah, so raping your daughters and teaching your son to rape is positive now? My teachers tell me most men wish they’ll have daughters so that they’ll get access to easy, carefree rapery inside the home—to them it’s like having rape delivered to their door which saves them going to a park at night to wait in a bush for a female passerby. This is true, just look at Joseph Schnitzel, the Nazi guy who locked his daughter in the basement closet (like in Harry Potter but with less magic a little more rape).

We need more single mothers. Single mothers are the best ever. Single mothers are the best judges of character in the world. They produce the most upstanding citizens, the least stupid people, and the most feminist women. (Just look at me—I am the perfect example of the product of a strong single mother.) I think that, like, the government should forbid any father from being around their children. Their role should be reduced to cum donor only, because men are not capable of being anything else to a child—just look at my father; he abandoned my mother and me after my mother kicked him out of the house.

Now on every Father’s Day, I think of him—my father, that is. He is totally the only parent I have after my mother died in a tragic fishing accident a few years back. I wonder what he does, where he lives, and who he is currently abusing. Mommy made sure that he would be deported from this county and sent to the Iraqi desert if he ever tried contacting me. She convinced a really powerful legal to promise that this would happen by giving him a rimjob. She made that sacrifice (she said she enjoyed it, but still) just to protect me from that monster. What a strong, independent woman.

I don’t want to think about him anymore and therefore this evil, patriarchal tradition—Father’s Day—must. be. stopped. Fathers are no good. I think we can all agree on that, so keep tweeting under my hashtag #EndFathersDay or better yet, step it up a notch and tweet under my new exclusive hashtag—you seen it first here, #PutAPistolToPapasPenis.

Here is another from the same person. Great stuff.

    Happy Fathers Day

Man those tweets make me ill. I know it's just a few fucking idiots with daddy issues but it pisses me off. My dad and grandfathers are my idols and I hope to be half the men they are/were. I guess you have to feel sorry for these people who will never feel that.

Anyways, rant over. Got the old man some new home phones (he still won't bail on the land line even though it's just telemarketers who call and piss him off )

Happy Father's Day dads! You all rock.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads and to all of those those who mentor, inspire and are fathers in all but the actual title of "father".

For men, he's the 1st template you model yourself after. For women, he's the standard which all others are judged by.

I'm grateful for the time, however brief it was, I had with mine. With the power of perspective, I am very grateful for the great lessons I'm able to pass down.

A sometimes challenging, always rewarding position to be in.

Hero Happy Father's Day to our favorite viral video dads

Ree Hines - The Today Show

On Sunday, dads across the country will get the recognition they so deserve. But online, there's never a reason to wait. Thanks to a wealth of viral videos from so many camera-ready dads, it's always Father's Day online.

Here's an assortment of our favorite clips by dads, for dads and in memory of them.

    Father gets 'Frozen'
Do you want to build a snowman? Or maybe just lip-sync about it? Well, that wasn't exactly a personal goal for Alex Stephenson, but when his 6-year-old daughter, Jade, begged him to pretend to belt out "Love Is an Open Door" from Disney's "Frozen," he gave it his all anyway.

“I was kind of shy about it, but then I figured if we’re gonna do it, we’re gonna really do it," he told Ellen DeGeneres of his near-perfect performance.

Indeed, the two even finish each others' ... sandwiches.

    Shh!
With a pink ukulele in his hands and plenty of parental ingenuity in his back pocket, Benjamin Ames proved he had the whole papa thing down pat in a video duet he filmed in 2013 with his then 4-year-old daughter Adelaide.

Their version of the '20s classic "You Belong to Me" wasn't a straight cover, thanks to Adelaide's adorable and frequent interruptions ("Shh!") each time she thought she heard fireworks boom in the background.

"She thought she kept hearing fireworks and couldn't sleep, so we sang to keep her mind preoccupied," Ames said in the description for their YouTube video. "In the end, nothing competes with fireworks."

    Well, nothing except Dad.

    The dad Gotham deserves
The most mundane request takes on a dark tone when delivered in the gruff, no-nonsense voice of BatDad. The Caped Crusader and father of four (whose secret — and real — identity is Blake Wilson) is ready to turn any situation into an intense situation.

"Ben! That's soap, not toothpaste," BatDad barks to his son with the same menacing manner he uses to ask one daughter, "Do you like your new Princess Sparklebottom Pony?"

But BatDad's dead-on Christian-Bale-as-Batman is only half of what makes his videos so great. The other half is made up of the reactions he earns from his wife and kids, which generally range from startled to annoyed to oh-well-this-is-how-we-live-now casual.

    The weekend warrior
A little peace and quiet, is that too much to ask? Evidently it is for father Tony Serafini, who spends his Saturday mornings alone with his rambunctious 4-year-old daughter.

Serafini filmed three months' worth of Saturdays and shared them online so other parents could take pleasure — and pity — from his annoyed looks and loud music and doll-filled days.

"I make the grumpy face as a joke, of course — she doesn't bother me like the videos suggest,” he told TODAY in April. "I just tried to channel the tired parent in all of us!”

    The real king
At first glance, it may seem like a 20-month-old tyke is the star of a viral vid called "Ella Mae sings 'An American Trilogy' by Elvis Presley," and well, fair enough. But while the little girl gives lip service to the King of Rock 'n' Roll in the clip, it's nothing compared to her words for the man behind the wheel of the car as she sings.

"Daddy!" It's a word delivered with more enthusiasm than most adults have the ability to muster, and little Ella Mae says it again and again ... and again. In fact, before, after and during the song, she calls out to her main man (who smiles back at her) more than 30 times.

    The big day without dad
Not all viral videos that celebrate dads make us laugh or smile. In fact, one our favorites is a real tearjerker that pays tribute to a man who couldn't be there on his daughter's special day.

A 2012 clip called "Bride's Special Dance," which has been viewed more than 10 million times, sees the men in Andrea Stocking's family stand up to take a turn with her during the traditional father-daughter dance because he father died just months before the big event.

Stocking told TODAY the tribute to her dad still brings on "the waterworks."
