They are there to help, but you're not obligated by law to follow their advice. If you disregard what they say, you are guilty of NOTHING.

Zimmerman was part of a neighborhood watch. He had a right to watch over his neighborhood. He saw Martin and thought Martin was suspicious, so he followed him. Martin turned on him. Martin hid behind a bush and waited for Zimmerman to attack him. He jumped him and got shot. Martin was a dumbass punk kid, and that's what got him killed.

If Martin confronted Zimmerman and said, "Yo, what's up? Why you following me, dog? My Dad lives over there. I belong here", then he'd probably still be alive today. If Martin ignored that he was being followed and kept walking back to his Dad's house, then he'd still be alive today. If Zimmerman had killed Martin during either of those two situations, then it would have been, point in fact, murder. But that's not what happened, was it?

It's based on events that actually happened. That chubby black girl that testified in Trayvon's name because she was on the phone with him is part of it. If anything, that cell phone call established Trayvon's intent to commit assault.
