I don't begrudge an informed opinion. Perhaps he has carefully considered the research. I have no idea. I am not sure why he has to have an MD to have an opinion on the subject. That's no different than saying we can't have an opinion on racial issues because we're white.

His opinion go's against those in the trained medical community. Therefor to me carries about as much weight as an anti-vaxxers opinion versus an M.D's would carry on the subject of vaccinations causing autism..

No, but statistically, the vast majority choose their birth gender when they reach adulthood. They don't need to be pushed, let them grow up and figure it out.
