Oh boy do I have a story....I'll summarize.

Worked with a group for years, lost my mind one day and gathered them all together and said - You all are making mistakes and it takes me and the supervisor HOURS to source out and correct them.

And NONE of you ever apologize or say thank you. We've all worked together for years, we've eaten lunch together for years, we've worked late together and on weekends for years.

You all need to start practicing some common courtesy!!!

Most guys came up and apologized to me after because I was known as the 'funny guy' or someone who would help a person with a problem rather than ratting people out when mistakes were made. After I lost my shit it was very satisfying during the ensuing months because things did change

East Indian guy creams a rack at work using the forklift around 2002-2004. All 10 sections domino folded down. Lots of noise and drama, not too much damage to stock on the racks because the rack was only two high (about 9 feet tall, as opposed to the regular 4 high racks, 22 feet tall).

Guy was devastated and thought he lost his job. I promised him if he stayed late and helped me sort the boxes and reconstruct the rack every night one week, nothing would happen other than an incident report.

Then I said privately to him - At least you didn't bring down a building.
