Exactly. It's one thing to let your kid grow and make their own mistakes, it's completely another to let your kid grow up and turn into one of these shrieking morons. And lots of these kids had it easy, they don't know what a hard life is. I know what it's like having only one parent around the whole time I was growing up and what it's like to have to eat boxed mac & cheese 3 and 4 days a week because that's all we could afford. And having to wear second hand clothes because we couldn't afford new clothes. But I'm a white male, so obviously I have to check my privilege.

They get all the positive reinforcement they need from social media these days and anything out of your mouth that alters from that false reality warrants a complete shut-out from them. I would have no trouble telling my 'don't call us, we'll call you if she decided to go down that SJW path. But luckily she pays attention, she knows how hard me and her mother work every day of every week. She knows there's no 'free ride' coming. We try and instill those values in her and as of now, she gets it. Not saying that won't change, but right now she's paying attention to reality.
