Education is their golden ticket (since the playing field is apparently unequal).
Hard to begrudge I would think?
Also keep in mind, "student debt" includes more than tuition. No can take the "full amount" to cover "living expenses" above tuition. Rarely is student debt just tuition. Add this fun fact. As long as you are a student you can defer your loans. So, there's a massive incentive to keep taking classes even if they add nothing and never lead to a degree.

Perhaps it's just a passing phase, but I think I understand the fatal flaw in BLM. Institutionally and legally blacks should have everything they need to be equal. But they are demanding individual commitment. Unfortunately, you can't force that through with legislature, rules and regulations. People are going to think what they think.
Here's something I can't figure out. During all the protests for these black people that were "executed" by the police, any time someone brings up the fact that most (not all) have a long criminal record, or that they were engaged in breaking the law at the time they were being engaged by the police, you are sharply told that you cannot hold their actions, past or present, at all to try and sully their name.
However, these same people are the same ones that are pulling down statues using these people's past actions/beliefs against them to disparage their name(s), disregarding anything good they may have done in their lives.
