    My company (Precision Drilling) is Canadian. The guys here that are from Canada are working today, but they'll get the 4th off along with the rest of us.

    Yep - day off with pay, got badly sunburnt at the local outdoor pool. Couldn't sleep last night because the house wouldn't cool down from 27 degrees.
