What's the longest you've ever procrastinated doing something you needed to get done?

Usually if it's something I don't want to do though, I put it off until the last possible moment.
DIY in the house can take 6 months of thinking

well first we need to define procrastination.... once that is defined we can see how long it might be that i will have been procrastinating... but until that time we will just go with the facts of which i have yet to ponder ...

my Mom caught me procrastinating once...I told her my leg was itchy
years.... literally.
