Shane Warne showed off a slimmed down bod while spruiking his new clothing range in India with British squeeze Liz Hurley this week (yep, they're still going strong). We never thought we'd say this, but Warnie's looking kinda hot.

Toned, tanned, clean shaven and sporting a more-than-$10 haircut... Liz has done a top job of transforming her new man!

The British model is famous for her crazy weight loss techniques which include the cabbage soup diet and skipping breakfast in favour of several cups of hot water. But Warnie's manager laughs off the suggestion that Liz has put her fella on a diet.

“He has been on a real fitness campaign since about eight weeks before he went to India,” says James Erskine, admitting that the 42-year-old cricketer has lost a substantial amount of weight.

But Erskine says the fitness kick was for career reasons, not girlfriend-induced. “When you are 42 and you're competing against a team of young 20-year-olds, you have to be fit,” he explained.

Apparently Warne shifted the chub by cutting down on fatty food and booze, drinking more water and diet shakes and taking daily runs and workouts.

Last month he denied rumours that he'd gone under the knife, tweeting, "Questions re facelift / Botox etc - are absolute rubbish - I am 86kg - lost 7kg and are close to being the fittest I have ever been."
