    Close to 2 years later and Queensryche is still not a hair metal band. Never was. If you listen to the first 4 song EP, they sound nothing like the crap that hair metal bands were putting out at the same time.

    What Pantera started out as has no bearing on anything.

    makes me wonder what actually makes a band qualify as hair metal to you...

    to me, its

    1) big hair
    2) bitch songs
    3) fans comprised of bitches & beta males
