‘Bigfoot Face and Hand’ Captured on Video

Tenn.– Footage released Monday evening from a trail camera showing an unidentified animal interacting with the device has many wondering if there could be a Bigfoot creature lurking in the woods of Tennessee.

North American Bigfoot Search (NABS) team member Scott Carpenter says the video was taken in daylight back in 2011.

“Something set off the camera at close range because of the lack of light caused by the subject grabbing the camera,” said Carpenter, also a systems administrator for a software development firm in Knoxville.

The 1-minute-long infrared video shows a dark-haired animal with an apparent thick skin “messing with the trail camera”.

But on a stabilized version of the recording, Carpenter noticed something else.

“Is this a palm and fingers?” he wonders

Seconds later, a blurry image that looks like a cone-shaped head with a hominid-like face shows up.

“Is that the underarm and a possible face?”



Carpenter claims he had his first experience with Bigfoot in 1973 when “two juvenile hairy bipeds” peered at him through a glass door.

In 2009, he allegedly had an encounter with a similar creature while fishing on a local lake.

“Something large, loud, and intimidating came to the shore line crashing through the underbrush and breaking limbs,” he said about the incident.

He joined the NABS in 2011 and he has reportedly contributed to the Ketchum DNA Project, also known as the Sasquatch Genome Project and led by Dr. Melba Ketchum.

“I submitted eleven samples that are in the study and are from a Sasquatch,” he claims.

The Tennessean currently maintains The Bigfoot Field Journal Blog and is the author of a book filled with high definition pictures where he details his research findings.

“This is a journal of the first two years of my research.”

He is not sure whether the animal on the video is a Bigfoot or a bear, he says, but he is certainly determined to find out more about the cryptid.

“I am committed to the scientific study of Bigfoot,” he said.
