I hear you talking, but what you're stating isn't the case.. You will not get treated like a woman if you walk down the street.. It's a double standard and its what happens.. I believe your original case was that (semi-) attractive women walking down the street get a healthy dose of freedom of speech, and that it is disproportionate to what men receive. I believe I'm stating that it being disproportionate is irrelevant. Of course I'm not going to get treated like that. Neither are you. Personally, I'm such a sexy beast it's intimidating and it leaves everybody speechless. In any case, that's what I'm telling myself.

Is it a double standard? Maybe, but that's gender roles. Men are vocal dogs. We bark. That's the way things are. You can't stop it. You can't have it both ways. Either you are for the freedom of speech, and you take the good with the bad, or you're not. If you are, great. Then the best that you can do is hope that people would act with more class and try to avoid those people who don't act with class the best you can. If you're not, move to a foreign country and see if you have it better there.

If she didn't want to receive all that attention then she shouldn't walk around for 10 hours looking for it. And the only purpose for her to walk around for ten hours was to look for this attention. If she doesn't want this attention, then tell her not to go outside. Or move to a fictitious place where people only act the way she wants them to act. Oh wait, here's an idea: she can accept that there are shitty people in this world in the city that she lives in and she's gonna have to learn to deal with it.

Bitch about it all you want, but you can't restrict people's speech in this country. People have the right to say whatever the hell they want, except they can't say they're going to assassinate an elected figure nor can they yell "fire" in a crowded public place. If she was actually physically assaulted, then she might have a case. But as far as I can see, she just recorded a video that's tantamount to whining about living in a society full of people who's speech that she can't control. This is just another case of a woman complaining about men being men.

The video was under 2 minutes long, and she claims she walked around for 10 hours. As far as I can tell, that's 9 hours and 58 minutes that she wasn't oppressed by the big bad wolves known as men. Instead of bitching about the 2 minutes she was uncomfortable for, she should revel in the fact that she had a relatively pleasant stroll in NYC for 9 hours and 58 minutes.

And for the record, she wasn't that hot. The guys that were oppressing her need to raise their standards.
