I bet 20 bucks on Ray Mancini when I was a young lad....it was against the current champ Frias and was a brutal one rounder. They were both just throwing bombs by the end of the fight...not much style or form. My buddy was bad mouthing Ray because he was "the wop with the hair"

Ray's next fight was against Kim and that's the one where Kim died a few days later in hospital....I remember he had to lose a lot of weight to fight Mancini and the fight was long (we watched it at my house)

I want Pacquiao to win and think he can. The reason this is a great fight is the speed and offense of Pacquiao versus the defensive mastery of Mayweather. Manny throws a lot of punches and is fast as fuck. Mayweather gets hit less then almost any other fighter. I don't think either fighter is a pugilist in the class of Lennox Lewis, but they are both amazing boxers.

Besides my bias towards Manny, he intangibles make me lean that way. Pacquiao has something to fight for, something to prove, a national legacy to cement with an entire nation behind him. Mayweather, while preserving his ego and self image as the the greatest of all time, has stated he tired of boxing and just wants to retire. That tells me he sees this more in terms of a massive payday than a personal drive for victory.

I can't wait to see it!!
