    American Pharoah went off with even-money odds in Saturday's Preakness Stakes and figures to receive similar billing in the Belmont.

    Online sports book Bovada.LV installed the Triple Crown hopeful as a 1-1 shot to win the June 6 race, with a tad shorter price available -- 5-7 -- that he won't pull it off.

    Comparatively, this time last year Bovada gave California Chrome 5-7 odds of winning the Belmont with an even-money line he'd fall short of ending the Triple Crown drought.

    I'm really pulling for American Pharoah, horse racing needs a Triple Crown winner, and this horse wasn't talked about and hyped up like past Triple Crown favorites. It will be great for the sport if he can win.

    I'd really love to see it happen too, would be great for worldwide racing Toughest test in racing though, the last 12 runners who won the first two all failed in the Belmont...... tough to pull out 3 awesome performances in the space of 5 weeks not to mention the extra couple of furlongs! I'm the eternal optimist though, 3k on the misspelled one
