He was a unique individual for sure.. Kind of treated the whole moderator thing like he was an actual police man or something.. Never could truly be cool...

Maybe that was it, if he couldn't be a "forum cop" he didn't want to be here at all? Because you're right, he took it VERY seriously.

Being a mod, or admin for that matter, is a thankless chore. Everything is hunky dory until you have to chastise someone then they call you a dictator.
Been there done that and now just enjoy playing on the sideline.
