Louisianan Releases ‘Bigfoot’ Photograph

A man in Southern Louisiana is convinced Bigfoot lives in the swampy region.

Ken, a member of The Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization (GCBRO), shared a photograph on Tuesday that he claims contains one of the creatures.

The researcher says he was investigating an area known for various Bigfoot sightings when he snapped the photograph. He did not specify an exact location.

“The witness was showing me where he saw a 6-feet juvenile standing a few days before this,” said Ken on a video he uploaded to YouTube. “We had some unexpected company checking us out!”

Ken claims he didn’t notice the “creature” until later that night when he began reviewing the images.

The picture shows the eyewitness standing in the middle of the thick vegetation next to a hominid-like dark silhouette behind one of the trees.

“I hope that this character is not fully grown! That is not the 6-feet juvenile that he saw standing in that spot,” Ken says.

He also took a second photograph seconds earlier where he claims the “monster” is not present. He compared the two images in his video, aiming to show the viewers the visual difference.



It is not the first time that researchers have claimed to have found the unproven beings camouflaged in the woods in one way or another.

In 2014, three people from Washington recorded a video where they maintained there was a dwarf “cloaked” Bigfoot. The footage showed something resembling the creature from the movie Predator.



But where some see creatures, others see an empty landscape. Critics, making use of science, argue that these cases are most likely a case of pareidolia, a psychological phenomenon known for triggering the human mind to perceive a familiar shape or pattern where it does not actually exist.

Additionally, the Gestalt Laws of Grouping maintains that the human mind considers objects in their entirety before perception of their individual parts; suggesting the whole is other than the sum of its parts.

But Ken, who has been receiving numerous Bigfoot sighting reports, is thoroughly investigating the area as he is certain that the creatures roam the Louisiana swamps.

“Are they in the swamps of Louisiana? You bet they are,” said Ken.
