Celebrity Death Pool 2016
Same rules as previous years with a couple of tweaks which are as follows:
PM me your list of 15 celebs/famous people (it has to be someone that is well known and is in the news/gossip rags) that you want on your list and we will get the ball rolling. After the lists are finalized I will add them to this first post. And just a quick reminder on the scoring system or for any new players, you start at 100 and then subtract the dead person's age and those are your points. So obviously the younger someone is, the bigger the score. Person with the most points at 11:59 PM MST December 31st, 2016 will be the winner.I am going to tweak it a bit as far as what is considered a celebrity and what will be allowed in the 2016 version. Of course anyone at all in the entertainment industry is still fair game so long as they are considered a celebrity, even if it's a Z-list celebrity and they are known outside of the area you live in. Such as, while Howard Stern for example would be a fair entry, the local DJ on your local station, even though he may be famous in your neck of the woods, is not a legal choice because nobody else will have ever heard of them. Same goes for politicians and the like. The President of the United States is a fair entry, but the US Secretary of Transportation, for example, is not. Same goes for any other country in the world where you may reside and the politicians there. You may know who your Minister of Defense is, but I'm sure nobody else will unless they live in the same country as you. Also, no obscure individuals such as random terrorists that nobody may have heard of, especially since it's near impossible to even prove they have died.
The death pool for 2016 will begin at midnight (MST) on the 9th of January 2016. So, I must have received your PM's with your final lists by January 8th, 2016 at 11:59 PM (MST), after that point, no more lists, or changes to your lists will be allowed. Also, please limit yourself to just ONE change of your list after you submit it. In the past I have received 3 and 4 and even 5 list revisions. If you have already submitted your initial list, you may revise it ONE TIME and then that will become your final list. This is being done to avoid confusion on my end on who sent what list when and all of that.
