Hillary was going to be the choice, it was made long ago to get her to stop running against Obama, with the promise of a nice job she could use to shake down people for the Clinton Foundation...and the Republican party is so fucked up and the choices they gave us also all fucked up. So it paved the way for an outsider, in this case Trump.
