So, any thoughts on the premiere?

I liked it...felt more like old school Dexter (like season 1), which is a good thing IMO

I have no idea what Hammer Time is, or how it differs from regular time.

I liked the premier.I get the sense that the producers wanted to retool, get back to basics and they used the theme of change or stages of life
as a main focal point.

Some good lines in his monologues for sure The religion exchange with Batista made me lol.How about that babe coming up and laying a bj on him?

Edward James Olmos and his protege (son?) weren't too creepy now were they? Awesome crime scene with the evisceration and the snakes.Notice how Dexter was almost drooling talking about it?
